Seeking God in Every Decision
Life is filled with decisions.

Some are small and simple, while others carry the power to shape entire seasons of our lives. From relationships and careers to friendships, finances, and purpose, every decision matters.
As God Girls, we are not called to navigate life based only on emotions, pressure, or what looks good in the moment. We are called to seek God first.
Because when we invite God into our decisions, we invite His wisdom, peace, direction, and protection.
God Cares About Every Detail of Your Life
Sometimes we think we should only pray about “big” decisions.
But God cares about every part of your life:
your future,
your relationships,
your goals,
your healing,
and even the things that seem small to others.
Nothing concerning you is too insignificant for God.
When we seek Him consistently, we begin to live with greater clarity, discernment, and peace.
📖 Scripture:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”— Book of Proverbs 3:5-6
Feelings Can Change—God’s Wisdom Does Not
Emotions are real, but emotions are not always reliable.
There will be moments when:
fear tells you to quit,
loneliness tells you to settle,
pressure tells you to rush,
or confusion tells you to give up.
But God’s wisdom remains steady even when emotions feel unstable.
Seeking God before making decisions helps protect us from acting impulsively and leads us toward choices rooted in wisdom rather than temporary feelings.
📖 Scripture:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.”— Epistle of James 1:5
Peace Is Often God’s Confirmation
One of the ways God guides us is through His peace.
That doesn’t mean every God-led decision will feel easy—but there will often be an inner confidence and calm that comes from knowing God is leading you.
When something consistently steals your peace, creates confusion, or pulls you away from God’s truth, it may be time to pause and pray before moving forward.
📖 Scripture:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”— Epistle to the Colossians 3:15
Seeking God Requires Surrender
Sometimes we pray, but secretly hope God agrees with the decision we already made in our minds.
But truly seeking God means being willing to follow Him—even when His answer differs from our plans.
That requires surrender.
Surrender says:
“God, Your will matters more than my comfort.”
“God, I trust Your timing.”
“God, lead me where You want me to go.”
And even when the path feels uncertain, obedience always leads to purpose.
God Will Direct Your Steps
You do not have to figure life out alone.
God promises to guide those who seek Him sincerely. He sees what you cannot see and knows what’s ahead before you arrive there.
The more time you spend with God:
in prayer,
in Scripture,
and in quiet moments with Him,
the more clearly you begin to recognize His voice.
📖 Scripture:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”— Book of Psalms 119:105
The God Girl Mindset
A God Girl doesn’t move blindly through life.
She:
prays before deciding,
seeks wisdom before reacting,
and trusts God more than temporary emotions.
She understands that God’s direction will always lead to greater peace, protection, and purpose.
A Word for You
If you are facing a difficult decision today, pause and invite God into it.
You do not have to rely solely on your own understanding. God wants to guide you, strengthen you, and lead you in the right direction.
So pray first.
Seek wisdom first.
Trust God first.
Because the safest place to be is always in the will of God.
